Renee and Brandon – 48 Fields | Leesburg Wedding Photographer
I’m so excited to finally share with you one of my top favorite weddings this year! Renee and Brandon finally got married on May 27th and it was magical!!! Renee did a fabulous job picking out the colors and everything for her wedding including the beautiful barn venue 48 fields in Leesburg. It all came together so well! I still can’t get over how gorgeous the flowers were by West Virjeni!
Here’s a little story about how they met:
Brandon and Renee met through friends. Her best friend from college is married to his best friend from the Army and together they thought that they would be a good match and set them up together at their wedding. Well they were right! Then on their one year anniversary after he had been overseas for 3 months, they were in Florida for a work trip and he surprised her with dinner on the beach and then he asked her to be his wife! She was totally caught off guard! Now, one year later after being engaged, they are husband and wife!
Renee and Brandon were such a delight to work with and I wish them many wonderful years to come!!
I started off at the brides parents house to photograph the grooms. Um, is it not the coolest man cave you have ever seen?!! And that’s because it has a fuseball table lol!! No seriously everything in this room was amazing and I was “wowing” the whole time!
I didn’t want to leave because it was that cool of a place but then headed over to the bride and grooms house to capture the ladies. I loved the floral gowns they were wearing!! Renee and her girls were so excited and you can tell that Renee is so special to them.
48 Fields is such a beautiful venue!! Kelly and her husband have done a wonderful job remodeling it and I love how light and airy it is (totally my style)!!
Here’s Renee’s story about why she choose her beautiful dress. I love that she made some changes to it to make it and make it that much more special!….
I was very shocked when I fell in love with the dress I chose. It was the complete opposite of what I have always imagined wearing. It was the first dress I tried on and I just had that feeling, I was glowing and it felt perfect. We added some bling to the dress on the belt and we made straps. It was very unique!
OMG these flowers!!! I LOVE THEM!! I want to have this bouquet in my house everyday!! And they are all locally grown flowers!!
The weather was gloomy and sprinkling a little so they didn’t chance the ceremony outside and had it in the lower part of the barn which was bright white with wood style tile flooring and flowing white curtains.
They decided to not see each other until Renee was walking down the aisle. The emotion I captured in Brandon, was truly priceless! Look at that big smile!!
Renee’s favorite moment was when they exchanged their vows. She said they aren’t an overly emotional couple so it was beautiful to see both of them get emotional!
Their vows were so sweet that I even got a little emotional!
After the lovely ceremony, we were able to go outside for photos because thankfully it wasn’t raining so we lucked out!
Isn’t Renee stunning?!!!
I had to capture Brandon who was super funny waving to friends calling out to him!
The reception room setup was dreamy and colorful. Another wonderful job on the flower centerpieces by Jeni her florist! I can’t believe her friend made her a beautiful cake!!
Her words about their first dance: Our first dance song was Die a Happy Man by Thomas Rhett. We chose it because one day we were driving around and we heard the song on the radio and we both loved it! It described our relationship and how we felt about each other perfectly. It was “our song” before we were engaged so it was a no brainer that we chose it!
From the youngest to the oldest, everyone was getting down on the dance floor!!
He got her so good with the cake!!! And then she got him back! Hahaha!!
Megan (Foxhound Events) and I (not in these photos because I wanted to take them) were teaching Renee how to do the Wobble!! It was so much fun and she caught on great!!!
