My couples mean the world to me especially these two. Nick and Ruth are so down to earth, easy going and fun which made it easy for us to hit it off when I first talked to them on the phone. I had an wonderful time with doing their DC engagement shoot when we did their sunrise shoot starting at the Lincoln Memorial and then going to the Library of Congress. It was so cold and poor Ruth picked a short but cute dress and she didn’t complain at all! I captured their love as the sun rose up which I couldn’t believe how naturally romantic they were. This was their first professional shoot but they were so natural and amazing at posing!
Nick and Ruth met through friends of friends about 2.5 years ago. They immediately hit it off and spent the first night and rest of the weekend together. Then had their first official date the following Thursday at Sushi Rock in Clarendon. They have been together ever since and he truly is her best friend and favorite person in the world! Isn’t this the sweetest?!
This fall they will by tying the knot at the Museum of the Woman of the Arts in DC and I know its going to be gorgeous! I truly can not wait and wish it could come sooner but I know the time will fly in which I’ll be photographing their wedding soon!
